Campus Advantage is one of the world's leading and most respected student housing and higher education companies. In July, 2013 I accepted a multifaceted position (consulting) as the senior marketing leader of this dynamic, fast growth company. Campus Advantage owns a (independent and arm's length) marketing services firm (Catalyst) that has great opportunities outside of exclusively servicing the parent company. In the past ten months, I have recruited and led a team of marketing and sales professionals to relaunch this brand and business. We have completely reengineered the agency and staffed it accordingly. The revenue growth has been significant, but more importantly, so has the morale of the staff and satisfaction of the client base. In addition, as the CEO of Catalyst, I have enjoyed a leadership role in higher education marketing including branding and campus identity for the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russia.
Recruited and led a team of marketing and sales professionals to launch this new fitness brand. Nexersys grew from eight employees to a company of 40+ in less than a year. This marketing driven company enjoyed unparalleled success in brand recognition and product sales during the 2012 calendar year. Success included record sales and product placement and promotion in national and international film and television shows such as: NBC's NCIS Los Angeles, Discovery's Man Caves, G4's X-Play, Disney's Kickin' iT and A.N.T. Farm, and major motion pictures including Quentin Tarantino's "Man with the Iron Fists" and Jackie Chan's "Chinese Zodiac". The integration of national television, social media and public relations created one of the most buzz-worthy brand launches the fitness industry has seen in decades.

With years of success in transactional marketing and a team of proven marketing and media winners, this company was poised for exponential growth. During the original two years as CMO, I focused on media maturity and message integration.
GSD&M's Idea City, Director of Director Services, 2005-January 31, 2008 Developed a preeminent Direct Services department that successfully integrates brand and transaction. Responsible for building the systems, processes and staff for the department from the ground up. Billings include Air Force, Cost Plus/World Market, Hallmark, AARP, NCL, Hallmark, Southwest Airlines and AT&T, with AT&T being the primary focus. During this time the strategy, offers, creative, metrics, analytics and analysis matured at a rapid pace for the clients and the agency. DRTV has become highly integrated within the agency and AT&T has grown to become what is arguably the largest direct response television broadcaster in the industry. At the same time moving away from a one-size fits-all approach to a comprehensive market specific approach that provides the right offer, creative and media combination to drive the most calls and clicks at the lowest cost.
Clients Included: GSD&M Responsible for educating client on DRTV, produced two long-form infomercials that were extremely successful. This led to a series of corporate DRTV spots and management of Direct Service agencies. This occurred until GSD&M and SBC made a commitment to Direct Response, at which time employment switched from consulting to permanent. Law firm of Motley Rice Lead efforts to define brand promise and guidelines, company positioning, Marcomm, new case acquisition, and PR management. In addition to recruiting, hiring, and training marketing staff with the results of establishing a 1st class marketing department for the nation's premiere trial law firm. Strategic Forecasting Inc. Responsible for developing marketing plan, recruiting, staffing, and training marketing staff to capitalize on the new transactional business model for various subscription based informational websites.
